Vienna is once again poised to become a fashion capital. The 18th edition of VIENNA FASHION WEEK.26 will celebrate its rich history in late summer 2026. For six days, the MuseumsQuartier Wien will transform into a dynamic hub for design and industry discourse.
This prestigious event runs from September 14 to 19, 2026. Hall E+G will host established designers and promising newcomers alike. Visitors can expect captivating runway shows, immersive shopping experiences, and forward-looking industry talks.
VIENNA FASHION WEEK.26 has evolved beyond traditional catwalks. It now stands as a multifaceted cultural and industry event. Maria Oberfrank, co-initiator and founder of the PITOUR label, leads the organization. She views fashion as a crucial barometer of cultural change and the zeitgeist.
Audiences will find glamorous runway shows blending seamlessly with freely accessible shopping areas. Moreover, innovative pop-up stores and a new Vintage Corner featuring exclusive rarities will enhance the experience.
The week officially begins with a festive opening on Monday, September 14, 2026. FR!TZ EYEWEAR will host the Opening Show, showcasing bespoke fashion and innovative eyewear. Later, on September 16, an official after-show party will take place at SO/ restaurant Das LOFT. Guests will enjoy panoramic city views and cocktails 18 stories above Vienna’s rooftops.
Important discussions precede the main event. On September 10, experts will gather at the MQ Summer Stage. A fashion talk titled “Fashion Business & Forecast,” moderated by Maria Oberfrank, will address economic significance and market solutions.
